Privacy Policy
Effective: May 8, 2026
We're Benri. This is the privacy policy for benri.to. Plain English, no legalese theater, but written carefully because we know it matters.
We're not lawyers. If you need legal-grade certainty about how we handle your data — say you're at a regulated company evaluating us — email pazi@benri.to and we'll work with you on the documentation you need.
Who we are
Benri is a sole proprietorship in Miami, Florida, operated by Pazi Najman. You can reach us at pazi@benri.to.
When we say "we" or "us," we mean Benri. When we say "you," we mean you — the person visiting benri.to.
What we collect
We collect three kinds of information:
1. Visitor analytics. When you visit benri.to, we use PostHog (a product analytics tool) to record what pages you visit, what you click, how long you stay, and basic technical details (browser, screen size, country derived from your IP). We don't see your name or email from this — just patterns of how the site gets used.
PostHog also captures generic interactions automatically — clicks, form submits, input changes — to help us see which parts of the site are working. Sensitive form inputs (passwords, etc.) are masked by default.
We route PostHog requests through benri.to/ingest, which can reduce ad-blocker false positives. The data still goes to PostHog's servers in the United States.
2. What you tell us when you book a call.If you click "Book a discovery call," you'll go to Calendly. Calendly collects your name, email, time zone, and your chosen time slot, governed by Calendly's privacy policy. We see what Calendly tells us — which is the booking details for our calendar.
3. What you email us. If you email pazi@benri.to, the email goes to our Google Workspace inbox. Google handles email storage per their privacy practices. We read the email and respond.
We don't have account signups, newsletters, comment forms, or chat widgets. There's nowhere on benri.to that submits your information to us except by booking a call or emailing us. (Our interactive demos include simulated forms, but those run entirely in your browser and don't transmit anything.)
What we don't do
We don't:
- Sell or rent your data to anyone
- Use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking pixels
- Run A/B tests that profile you across other sites
- Share your data with anyone except the sub-processors listed below
Who sees your data
These are the services we use that touch any data about you:
- PostHog(analytics) — sees what you do on benri.to. US-based. Privacy policy.
- Calendly(booking, only if you book) — sees your name, email, time. Privacy policy.
- Google Workspace(our email backend) — stores emails you send us. Privacy practices.
- Vercel(our hosting provider) — sees standard server logs (your IP, the page you requested, the time, response code). Privacy policy.
If you visit our /demos/silverdispatch interactive demo, that page also loads icon fonts from Google's CDN. Google sees the request (your IP and browser). Google's privacy policy.
How long we keep data
- PostHog event data: per PostHog's default retention. We'll work with their retention controls to shorten as makes sense.
- Our calendar entries from Calendly bookings: kept until the call happens, then archived in our calendar. Calendly itself retains booking records per their policy. If you ask us to delete the record on our end, we'll do it.
- Email: kept as long as we have an active conversation with you, deleted when the relationship ends or you ask us to delete.
- Vercel server logs: per Vercel's standard retention (typically ~30 days).
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what data we have about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your data (where we have it — we can't delete what's already in your own email account)
- Stop sending you emails (just tell us, or stop replying)
Email pazi@benri.to with your request. We'll respond within 7 days.
If you're in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under GDPR (data portability, objecting to processing, etc.) — same email, we'll work through it.
If you're in California, you have rights under CCPA — same email.
Cookies
PostHog drops cookies and uses localStorage to recognize you anonymously across page views. The cookies appear under benri.to in your browser because of the /ingest proxy, but they're functionally PostHog's.
You can:
- Block cookies in your browser settings (the site still works)
- Use private/incognito mode
- Enable Do Not Track in your browser — we configure PostHog to respect it
For the full list, see our Cookies notice.
Children
benri.to is for businesses and the people who run them. We don't intentionally collect data from anyone under 18, and we don't market to anyone under 18.
International data transfers
Benri operates from the United States. PostHog, Calendly, and Vercel are US-based. If you're visiting from outside the US, your data is transferred to the US. We rely on standard contractual clauses with our sub-processors where required.
How we'll tell you if this changes
When we update this policy, we'll change the "Effective" date at the top. Substantive changes that affect your data will get an additional notice — typically an email if we have yours, otherwise a banner on benri.to.
